  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup brown sugar You can adjust the sweetness by using less.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Yellow mustard can be used in a pinch.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper.
  3. Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface.
  4. Brush the glaze mixture all over the ham until it’s nicely coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes per pound, or until heated through and caramelized.
  2. Let the ham rest before slicing and serving.

Notes

Don't skip the resting step! It helps the juices redistribute and keeps the ham moist. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 6 months.
